6,000 enter World Series Event

A record-breaking 6,000 people entered the World Series of Poker’s fourth event, the “Stimulus Special” no-limit hold’em tournament with a buy-in of $1,000, the lowest of the series. The $1,000 event is the largest non-WSOP Main Event tournament ever played and reached the maximum capacity of approximately 3,000 players per start day. The prize pool is over $5 million and the winner will receive at least six figures.
